Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 8 October 2026 · Last updated: 8 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Beamz B Ledger, provided by Beamz Household Ledger (“we”, “us” or “our”). By ticking the acceptance box and creating an account or signing in, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account, sign in or use the service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your country. You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials and device secure, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

2. What the app provides

Beamz B Ledger is a household budgeting, ledger and payment-tracking tool. It may provide cloud synchronisation, shared-ledger access, reminders, statement import, bank-notification matching, currency display, exports and related features. Features may vary by device, country, app version or subscription status.

Beamz B Ledger is not a bank, lender, payment service, accountant or financial adviser. Information shown by the app is for record-keeping and planning only. You remain responsible for checking amounts, dates, imports, detected payments and other records against the original source before relying on them.

3. Your information and content

You retain ownership of information you enter into the app. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process, back up, synchronise and display that information so we can provide the service. You must not upload or share content you do not have the right to use.

4. Shared ledgers

If you invite another person, you are responsible for choosing the correct recipient and deciding what they may access. Shared users must also comply with these Terms. Removing access does not necessarily remove information that a recipient previously exported or lawfully retained.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, reverse engineer the app where prohibited, distribute malware, use the service for fraud or unlawful activity, or infringe another person’s rights. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or comply with law.

6. Free access and subscriptions

Access is free through 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027, editing features require an active paid subscription. Without an active subscription, you may view and export existing records but may not add, edit or delete ledger data.

Subscription prices, billing periods and any discounts are shown in the app before purchase. Purchases are processed by Google Play or another displayed app-store provider. Renewal, cancellation, taxes and refunds are governed by the purchase terms shown by that provider and applicable law. Cancelling normally stops future renewal but does not retrospectively refund a current billing period unless the provider or law requires it.

7. Notifications and third-party services

Reminders and announcements may be delayed, blocked or delivered differently by your device, network or service providers. You should not rely on the app as the only method of meeting a financial deadline. Authentication, cloud storage, messaging, billing and other functions may use third-party services subject to their own terms.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, change, add or remove features. If we make a material change to these Terms, we will make the updated version available and may ask you to accept it again where appropriate.

9. Ending use

You may stop using the app at any time and may request account deletion using our account-deletion instructions. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach, security risk, legal requirement or discontinuation of the service, subject to applicable law.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that imported, detected or calculated information is complete or accurate. We are not responsible for losses caused by decisions made solely from app records, missed reminders, device failure, third-party service failure or unauthorised access outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except that any mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights in your country continue to apply.
